I am a temporary lecturer and researcher (ATER) at the UPMC - Paris 6. I am working on Ad Hoc networks. My research interests include many aspects of these networks. Mostly the performance evaluation of the IEEE 802.11 mac layer. I am also interested in control in multihop wireless networks
I am working under the direction of Associate Professor Naceur Malouch and Professor Serge Fdida.
In spring 2007 I visited Professor Marwan Krunz team at the E.C.E laboratory of the University of Arizona and I worked under his direction and in collaboration with Satyajeet Ahuja.
Research Interests:
My research interests are mainly in the control mechanisms in multihop wireless networks and include many aspects related to this domain. Starting from modeling the IEEE 802.11 protocol and also the study of TCP behavior in multihop Ad hoc environments.
Recently I've been interested in Cognitive Radio Networks. This new research activity started during my visit to University of Arizona in Tucson. This work is being done jointly with Prof. Marwan Krunz and Satyajeet Ahuja.
